You have to admit, this is the biggest game of young Jameis Winston’s blossoming career. Not only is he leading a top 5 team, he is playing another top 5 team on the road in probably one of the top 5 most difficult places to play. So quite simply, can this kid pass this test? He has looked unstoppable so far. They call him ‘Famous Jameis’ and if he wins this game, everyone in the country will surely know his name.

Why this is a big game: The winner of this game will likely be the team playing for the ACC Championship from the Atlantic Division, clearly a goal for both teams. This is the game the ACC has been looking forward to for many years. It’s the first time since 2005 two Top 5 teams are in the ACC are playing each other. It proves the ACC is not just a superior basketball conference, but they can turn out great football teams as well!

Why Florida State will win:  Jameis Winston. He’s a redshirt freshman who plays much older than his years. He’s played some big games at home and on the road and has yet to be flustered, but this clearly will be his biggest game.  He leads the ACC with pass efficiency with a rating of 213.9. He’s thrown 17 touchdown passes so far this season where Boyd has “only” thrown 15.

Why Clemson will win: Tajh Boyd. He was the ACC 2012 Player of the Year and is a Heisman Trophy contender. He leads the ACC with an average of 328.3 yards per game and is only 2nd behind Winston with pass efficiency. Home field advantage is also a key factor in this game. The fans will be tailgating all day and will be ready to own Memorial Stadium. FSU hasn’t won in Clemson since 2001. 

Who will win: The slight edge goes to Clemson only due to the fact they are playing at home and they have a more experienced quarterback. However, Vegas has FSU winning by 3.
