Braxton Miller

Braxton is just a cool name. It really is. Combine a cool name with an outstanding athlete and you get Braxton Miller, quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He’s a 6 ft 2 in. junior weighing in at 215 pounds. He missed three games earlier this season due to a knee injury and he was questionable to start the game last weekend against Wisconsin. Why should you care? I’ll tell you why. A true athlete doesn’t let injury or pain get in their way of playing a sport they love. The mind of an athlete is special. The perseverance, the dedication, the determination. It’s just awesome!

Up until last weekend, Wisconsin had not allowed a passing touchdown all season. Miller threw a career high of 4 touchdown passes. He broke Ohio State Cornelius Greene’s 38 year old record for rushing by any Ohio State QB!

Miller currently has the longest winning streak of 17 games. He was named Big Ten offensive player of the week. He’s got his work cut out for him against Northwestern this week, but my guess is that he can handle it!

Oh, and did you see what Ohio St did after their big win last week? If not, check this out.
